I want to start 2019 gleaming like Venus rising up from the ocean. Is this too much to ask? Inspiration for this New Year’s Eve look includes water nymphs and fairies who grew up in the 1990’s.
First, Glam Glow’s Nude Glow goes on as a base, and then a blend of the two Nar’s concealers buffer out with a foundation brush. Kevyn Aucoin for the brows, such a great shade- not at all orange-y. Yacht Lyfe from Fenty Beauty goes on lips (with Lanolips balm) and cheeks, as well as the tip of my nose, chin, and top of my forehead, against buffed out to bring the tones all together. Moon Shine from Mecca Maxima goes all over the lid, most concentrated on the inner half of the eyelids and is brought gently to the lower lash line. Space Cadet is for the outer half of the lid and along the lash line. Fenty Beauty’s Mint’d Mojito is dabbed on top of the inner half of the lid over Moon Shine. Mecca Maxima’s Holo Jelly is used as a high lighter wherever needed. Lastly, my new holy grail mascara which really stays put through anything, Hourglass Caution mascara. Sorted! I think this look is quite ethereal and vibrant.
